Durant cares more about being a trusted defender than about All-Defensive honors.

“No, not more than just wanting to be trusted on the defensive end by my teammates and coaches. I mean, accolades are incredible. I love receiving accolades. But it's only ten players that can make all-defensive teams. And there's more than ten great defenders in the league. So, I just try to be a guy that's not a liability on that side and that I can be trusted by my teammates and coaches.”
