Dosunmu brings a Chicago grittiness and toughness that Minnesota has needed for years.
โHe's from Chicago so he brings that grittiness and toughness that I love, that we've needed for years.โ
Hyland looks best as an aggressive scorer next to a point guard instead of running the offense.
โI still think the best version of him is aggressive -- more focused on being a weapon than getting the team into the offense. Thought he looked a lot more dynamic tonight playing alongside a point guard (Zyon Pullin) than he did on Monday (when he was clearly running the show during his minutes).โ
Jaylen Clark has moved into the 9th-man rotation spot.
โJaylen Clark the 9th man in (was Trey Lyles in G1)โ
LaMelo played great and got everyone involved and talked more than Edwards expected.
โHe was great tonight. Y'all know. He plays like his hair is on fire. He gets everybody involved. He talked more than I expected throughout the game. That's another big one for me, especially because I love people who talk. Let us know what you see.โ
