Green to be used as ball handler.
“That's super helpful, not only as a ball handler, but again, playing through our bigs maybe a little bit more. And then using him as a cutter, just his aggressiveness to downhill, another guy we want to get in the paint.”
Phoenix is sending its guards in to crash the boards for extra rebounds.
“We put more emphasis on all the guards going in, crashing, getting more boards.”
Goodwin wants to help the team through tougher ball defense and more rebounds with quicker outlets.
“I think me just being more impactful on the ball defensively will help us out a little bit more. Just getting more rebounds, kicking ahead, less dribbles, just get us out there more space.”
Goodwin is setting up teammates with the second unit and looking to get Gillespie going off the ball.
“I'm just setting up, just getting other guys going. Especially with that second unit, get Collin going, when he off the ball.”
Goodwin has played every position except the five in camp.
“I've touched every position besides the five. So, everything else here, I've been playing pretty much everything, every position.”
