Porziņģis has run some of these actions before so the learning curve should be mild.
“I don't think it'll be that steep for him. You know, he's done some of this in his career, what we're incorporating in Boston, you know, some of these actions that we're doing. He's done, Al's done. And it's still basketball. You know, he's a really smart player. Been in the league for a long time. Yeah, he'll be fine.”
Horford likes the actions and positions the Warriors offense puts him in.
“I really like it. I just really like the actions that we're running, the positions that I'm being put in and it kind of suits to some of the things that I'm able to do. I think it's been very positive for our group, and today was just another day that I feel like we continue to pick it up and put it together.”
Horford believes Lendeborg can succeed at center in faster.
“he definitely has the size for it and presents a lot of problems when he goes to the five for teams to keep up with him. So I think it's going to be something that we'll really be able to take advantage of with him being out there and playing with a group that plays faster... I feel like he's going to be in a position to be very successful being playing at the five.”
The Warriors are running a five-out offense with more pace and quick screens.
“everybody's running the five out, you know, you want to play with more pace, you want to quick, quick screens, quick step ups, like different things like that, keep the defense on their toes. So I think we're all trying to do that right now.”
