Powell encourages teammates to take open shots instead of passing them up.
“I'm telling them to shoot the ball... they're passing up shots and things like that, just the reinforcement to give them the confidence to attack or to take the open shot.”
Chicago was too loose and not aggressive enough in dictating the offense.
“Not being on the ball, being too loosey, like, you know, I wanted them to be a little bit more aggressive, dictate the offense instead of just waiting for the offense to attack.”
Wilson felt rushed in his first two days but now feels far more comfortable.
“Honestly, my first two days it seemed like everything was moving so fast because you're going against NBA talent and everybody's athletic and the gaps close really fast. But now, it's way more chill. Today was a really good day for me.”
