Missi's injury turned out to be better news than the team first thought.
“The first thing we announced (to the team) is that it wasn't what we thought it was. It was better news.”
Missi has a left knee bone bruise after hyperextending it against the Jazz.
“Yves Missi has been diagnosed with a left knee bone bruise. An MRI confirmed the injury, which occurred as a result of a left knee hyperextension during the second quarter of last night's game against the Utah Jazz.”
Missi has a left knee injury and will be examined in Denver on Saturday.
“It's a left knee injury and we're going to get a look at it tomorrow (Saturday) in Denver.”
