Karaban thought his first game was fine despite mistakes at both ends.
“I felt like I made some mistakes defensively, offensively, just trying to pick my spots better, but for the first one, I thought it was fine, but there's always room to improve.”
The faster pace and the physicality are the biggest adjustments from college to the NBA.
“It's really just the physicality and the pace of the game. I mean we're playing so much faster than we do in college and the physicality, the grabbing, the grown men out there on the floor. It's really those two things that are the biggest adjustments.”
Karaban is focused on making hustle plays and connecting with the stars around him.
“trying to be a connector, I mean, those hustle plays have been instilled in me for, With where I went to school, UConn, that just gets instilled. So just trying to make all the hustle plays no matter what. And then always trying to be a connector for the superstars that we have on this team and the best that we have on the team.”
