Burries is working on getting into the paint and creating for others while being more vocal.

“Offensively getting into paint, you know, creating for others, you know, drawing other guys to me and then just making the easy play... just trying to be more vocal, be that lead guard.”

Brayden Burries earned late-game minutes with his paint pressure and all-around play.

“Yeah, he played great. He earned it. I thought his playmaking, his ability to get downhill, he did a great job offensive rebounding, defensive rebounding. Was, you know, making some shots, getting to the free throw line. I thought he did a solid job on defense. There's some things he can do better, but he was playing great tonight. Tyler had a great night. Brayden had a great night. They were kind of our best at getting into the paint throughout the game. So, rewarded the kid. He earned it. Thanks, everyone.”

After Turner went 0-for-7 Jenkins wants him to keep shooting when open and not defer.

“You should never defer. You should be assertive. When you're open, let it fly... I'm never going to tell a guy when you're missing shots to not shoot it.”
