Cleveland packed the paint and switched everything to keep the opponent out of the lane.

Evan Mobley tasked with elite defense and three-point shooting while playing center to unlock the Cavaliers' ceiling.

“He's at the five a lot of times when that happened. He's got to also be, you know, a defensive player of the year. We can't just say, hey, let's put Evan at the five and we're going all offense because he's shooting threes. It's like, Evan, can you do that? And still, you've got to hold the fort defensively for us. So that's a huge role. But, you know, our ceiling, if he can do that, hit threes and still be the great defender that he is and should be, then that could be our next jump.”

Hezonja is on spot minutes and has been good in whatever time he gets.

“Mario hit that huge three. You know, we're giving him spot minutes and it's tough. I felt like he was just good, you know, whatever minutes he played, he was really good.”

Atlanta's closing group is open and Flemings had the good game tonight.

“Not to fixate on who starts, who finishes. Kingston was having a good game tonight. And as I said, that could be anyone.”

Kingston Flemings closed the game over CJ McCollum, with Snyder citing his rhythm and ball-pushing impact.

“Kingston gave us a lift. He was pushing the ball and he made some good things happen. … Kingston had been in the game long enough that it felt like we're throwing CJ in a tough situation, putting him in cold at that point. So, as I said, CJ is all about the team and the team winning. And, you know, that's an aberration.”

Flemings will keep putting the ball on the rim when defenses know he will pass.

“It's just when the defense knows I'm gonna pass, like, my passes aren't gonna be there. So coaches talk to me about that. Everyone's talking about that. So putting the ball on the rim, I'm gonna continue to do that.”
