Milwaukee is trying Ware and Turner together in a big lineup during the preseason.

“Just wanted to get a different look... seeing those two guys together, it's been on my mind... changing up the rotation, the different combinations over the course of the preseason. You know, enjoy playing big at times.”

Ware and Turner can both shoot and playmake on the perimeter when paired.

“Having those two guys out there, both guys that can playmake on the perimeter, in my opinion, can shoot... Myles even putting the ball on the deck and playmaking at times. Kel'el doing the same.”

MILBrayden BurriesDevelopmentPresser3d

Burries is focused on getting into the paint and picking up full court on defense.

“Just trying to get in the paint on offense... And then on defense side picking up and then guarding, like full court and stuff.”

McNeeley's priority is tighter defense after too many layups and slow closeouts.

“The thing that I would like him to focus on no matter what going on offensively how can we still be tight defensively... there was just some areas there where there too much slippage Too many layups or not enough activity to get back on closeouts”

CHAMichael AjayiDevelopmentPresser2d

Ajayi has shown he can guard multiple positions and is still finding his offensive spots.

“He's showed us who he can be, who he is as a defender, guarding multiple positions with his size and his length... offensively, just finding his niche, finding where are his spots to be able to slash and how can you drive it a little quicker”

Ajayi will get opportunities with both the Hornets and Greensboro.

“He's going to have opportunity with the Hornets, but also in Greensboro's too. The more reps he gets, the better he gets.”
