Lendeborg at center is an option for Golden State with Porzingis out and Horford managing minutes.
“Yaxel Lendeborg playing center? That's an option for the Warriors with Porzingis out, Horford managing minutes and depth being thin.”
Horford believes Lendeborg can succeed at center in faster.
“he definitely has the size for it and presents a lot of problems when he goes to the five for teams to keep up with him. So I think it's going to be something that we'll really be able to take advantage of with him being out there and playing with a group that plays faster... I feel like he's going to be in a position to be very successful being playing at the five.”

“Podziemski, Melton, Lendeborg, Santos and Niang to start the second half. Curry and Green are at 14 and 15 minutes played, respectively, and neither are on the bench to begin the second half.”
Yaxel Lendeborg in line for significant minutes as a rookie, whether he starts or comes off the bench.
“We're gonna throw him out there whether he's a starter or off the bench. He's going to play a ton and frankly he deserves it. You can see it whether it's summer league or pickup games or now the first couple days of camp. He's one of our best players already. 6'10, 7'4 wingspan. He can dribble, pass and shoot, defend multiple positions. So he's a very important player for us.”

“Really good size on the front line... Al, Yax, or BP can all shoot the three but also make plays. So it's a good, well balanced lineup.”
