Lendeborg at center is an option for Golden State with Porzingis out and Horford managing minutes.
“Yaxel Lendeborg playing center? That's an option for the Warriors with Porzingis out, Horford managing minutes and depth being thin.”
Horford likes the actions and positions the Warriors offense puts him in.
“I really like it. I just really like the actions that we're running, the positions that I'm being put in and it kind of suits to some of the things that I'm able to do. I think it's been very positive for our group, and today was just another day that I feel like we continue to pick it up and put it together.”
The new system suits Porziņģis and Horford and lets the group roam the floor.
“I think so. I mean, when you look at it, it just makes sense. It puts us in a really good position like you said with a guy like KP and what he's able to do. It really suits him. And then for me as well, I'm very comfortable in that. And the good thing about it is with our group, I feel like we can all kind of be all over the floor. We don't have to be in specific spots.”
Curry and Green and Horford play about 20 minutes tonight and skip the Portland trip.
“The Warriors’ veterans will play tonight against the Lakers but be limited to around 20 minutes. Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Al Horford will not travel to Portland for the back-to-back tomorrow. A few others may skip the trip also, per Kerr.”
Starters limited to 12-16 min in preseason game.
“Starters will play between 12-16 minutes. Curry, Draymond, Horford will only play in the first half. The entire roster is expected to get minutes.”
