The ball runs through Hachimura and Ingram once Ingram is back.
“Rui, B.I. when he gets back, like, the ball's going to be in their hands and they got to be, you know, a lot of responsibility.”
Hachimura can score if unlocked and the challenge is getting him to rebound.
“Mark Few said, I'll tell you, if you unlock him, he can score the basketball or whatever. You got to challenge him to rebound the basketball.”
Hachimura is being pushed to be more aggressive with post ups and screen actions instead of corner standing.
“We just talked to Rui about being more assertive, being more aggressive, being able to use him different ways than just standing in the corner... you got to be able to post up, come off pin downs, come off screens, and we're going to play through them a lot.”
The Clippers are testing whether Hachimura can switch and guard one through four.
“We were just trying to figure out if he can switch and guard one through four. He's shown he can guard point guards a little bit. We know he can guard fives and centers because he's strong and he's big.”
Hachimura has talked with the team about how much they want him attacking on offense.
“I've been communicating with them, you know, how much they want me to be aggressive, especially on the offense side.”
