Giannis was more forceful and assertive going downhill against a slightly different coverage.
“Well, you could feel more of his force, you know, tonight. I think he could sense that it was a slightly different coverage and night to night it could be that. That's what the great players, you know, require when you're scouting against them. Usually it's something different or different little nuanced schemes and scouting reports. But he was definitely assertive, getting to his spots, quickly, you know, downhill. You know, so that's more of what we're expecting, you know, than, you know, making plays to wide open shooters time and time again.”
Regulars get some first half run tonight and developmental players handle most of the second half.
“plan for tonight's exhibition is similar to the one used in the preseason opener. Expect regulars to play some in the first half, and then mostly young/developmental players in the second half.”
