“WOLVES PROJECTED STARTING 5: LAMELO BALL, ANTHONY EDWARDS, JADEN MCDANIELS, JONATHAN KUMINGA, RUDY GOBERT”
LaMelo's playmaking lets Anthony Edwards play off the ball more.
“It certainly helps, again, we can get Ant off the ball and benefiting from that as well as other guys too.”
Ball is playing good positional defense and learning to work alongside Gobert.
“He's playing good positional defense. He's using his length well. You know, he's understanding how to navigate playing out there with Rudy.”
LaMelo played great and got everyone involved and talked more than Edwards expected.
“He was great tonight. Y'all know. He plays like his hair is on fire. He gets everybody involved. He talked more than I expected throughout the game. That's another big one for me, especially because I love people who talk. Let us know what you see.”
LaMelo is the first starter back in and plays alongside Beringer.
