Knecht sees himself as a three-level scorer and wants to show ball pressure and defensive rebounding.
“just like a three-level score. I think I just go out there and can impact the game at all three levels... I just want to show on the other side of the ball, getting into the ball pressure and stuff like that, and going in and grabbing defensive rebounds.”
Knecht gave a nice offensive lift in the first half but has defensive details to clean up.
“There were a couple of things defensively that he could do a little better. And that's what he's got to really concentrate on. But I thought he gave us a nice little lift, especially offensively, when he played towards in that first half.”
Knecht is a scorer with range and a midrange game who still has to work defensively.
“He's a scorer. He's not just a shooter... But he can go get it. He can shoot from range. He's got a medium game. He can get to the rim. He can pass. He's got to work defensively. And I thought tonight he tried to play within himself and contributed the best way he could.”
Knecht still believes he is the best player and best shooter whenever he steps on the court.
“I still think I am the best player and best shooter when I step out on the court”
