Demin sees himself as a versatile player and wants to help the team anywhere.
“I've been saying at all times to Jordi and the other coaches that I'm seeing myself as a very versatile player in the future and that I want to be anywhere I can benefit the team. I'm a winner, so I want to win as much as I can.”
Demin is showing signs he can handle the job and widen the Nets' options.
“Egor Demin showing #Nets signs he can handle the job — and give them more options”
Dëmin has spent the summer working on attacking the paint and now looks comfortable getting there.
“I want him aggressive to shoot or touch the paint & he's done it the whole summer. He's worked at it, he's stronger & now he's very comfortable getting there.”
Dëmin wants to bring even more than his summer league game and feels better now.
“Yeah, my goal is to translate not just a part of what I did in summer league, but even more. I had some more time after summer league, and I kept working on that stuff. I think I'm even better right now than I was in summer league.”
Demin inserted at point guard; Nets passing on Traore and Saraf in favor of ball-handling responsibility for Demin and Ellis at off-guard.
“Egor Demin gets the nod at point guard, with Mikel Brown Jr. hurt. The #Nets go with veteran Keon Ellis at off-guard and put Demin on the ball, rather than with sophomores Nolan Traore or Ben Saraf.”
