Diallo gets first-quarter minutes and DeRozan plays the four in an all-bench unit.
“Alpha Diallo getting first-quarter minutes tonight as David Adelman goes with DeMar DeRozan at the four this time in his all-bench second unit.”
DeRozan will enter first in the rotation while his minutes load is still undecided.
“With DeMar, this is a work in progress for me... I got to find out what DeMar's comfortability is with that. Do I have to stunt the minutes for him? But, yeah, he'll be coming in first.”
DeRozan checks in first and who exits for him will change through the preseason.
“he'll be coming in first, I mean obviously, and we'll probably change the rotation of who comes out when he goes in throughout the preseason to try to figure out the right thing.”
