Franz attacks the paint from everywhere and his patience there makes life easier for teammates.
“That's just what he does. I think the way that he plays and the skillset that he has allows him to be a threat at all times and to attack the paint at all times. Whether that's from long-range, from the mid-range or from short distance, he's always a guy that the defense has to collapse to. Franz is somebody that's really patient in that paint and makes the right decisions in there. So, it really makes everybody else's life way easier.”

“We talked a lot about trying to sprint into organization going into this game and I thought we did a really nice job of that, especially in the first half. But throughout the game we did a good job with really trying to get into our offense and play with great pace throughout a possession and great ball movement throughout a possession.”

“The #Magic are starting Jase Richardson, Desmond Bane, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. tonight at Memphis.”
Orlando is running more reads and principles and fewer scripted plays than in recent years.
“We haven't done too many scripted plays, if that makes sense, but more reads and principles that we want to play out of. And I think that's definitely an adjustment to the last couple of years.”
