Magic's opening-night starting lineup vs Memphis: Richardson, Bane, Wagner, Banchero, Carter Jr.
“The #Magic are starting Jase Richardson, Desmond Bane, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr. tonight at Memphis.”
Richardson spent the summer lifting to get stronger after getting picked on last season.
“Last year I felt like a couple times I was getting picked on a little bit. So, you know, trying to spend as much time as I could in the weight room this summer trying to get stronger and, you know, just being the first guy to hit.”
Richardson wants to be an irritant with aggressive full-court pressure on the ball.
“Being aggressive every single time on the ball, especially being 94 feet, just being an irritant, somebody who annoys you all game.”
