Anderson twice nearly landed in Toronto and can be an important piece.
“Kyle Anderson nearly signed with Toronto in 2022. The team almost traded for him 3 years later. Slo Mo was destined to be a Raptor. Now that he is, the veteran forward can be an important piece, on and off the court”
Anderson must be ready to play the five and the four and maybe handle the ball.
“I spoke to Darko about that. He said yeah I need you to be ready to play the five the four maybe handle the ball.”
Barnes starts at the four then moves to the one and the five in interchangeable lineups.
“Scottie starts at four, but then he moves to one, then he becomes a five, and Kawhi is three, but a different lineup, he becomes a four. It's very interchangeable.”
Toronto is deliberately funneling the ball to Kawhi so teammates learn where he wants to be.
“Intentionally we're focusing right now more to get, get, get a ball to him so other guys can get used to him, where, where he needs to be on the board, what he's going to be doing, how he's going to be finding his teammates.”
Kawhi looked really good in another practice with contact and 5-on-5 work.
“Kawhi looked really good today. This was another great practice with us. A lot of contact, a lot of life, 5-on-5.”
