Adelman feared camp would show only nine playable players and is glad to see growth from many.
“It's what you want. I'll be honest, the worry for me coming into camp was, do we only have nine players? And you can't survive the season like that. So it's good to see growth from a lot of guys.”
Spencer Jones is testing his hamstring with running and dribbling but is still not close to returning.
“Spencer Jones got in a workout post practice today. Was doing some running, some dribbling, trying to test out that hamstring and go through the checklist before returning to play. Still don't think he's close to back yet.”
The starters are still learning to tag up while the second unit already creates extra chances.
“Our starters are not used to the tagging up concept. The second unit was pretty good at it... They got us a lot of extra opportunities, which we have not done over the years, especially last year.”
