Clingan is almost certain to start while Williams plays a lot with the smaller lineups.
“I'm almost 99% sure just because of minutes and all that stuff with Rob that Donovan's going to start. But Rob's going to be playing an awful lot with all those smalls.”
Williams' return matters because he and Clingan are both good drop defenders.
“Getting Rob back was so important to us in my opinion is because not only is Donovan a really good drop defender so is Rob.”
Clingan faces more pressure to block shots at the rim and talk to the perimeter.
“More pressure on me at the rim to block more shots. More pressure on me to communicate more to the guards, to the wings on the perimeter.”
Williams feels healthy after a strong summer and sees few restrictions on his workload.
“It's one of the best summers I've had health-wise... I don't see too many restrictions on me. Still something we're working on, trying to get my body right.”
