Carlson is confident playing both the four and the five after working on the four.
“I've played five the majority of my whole life, but I think these past few years, my last year in college, I played a lot of four. And then as well, just throughout here, I've been really working on it. So I'm very confident in both positions.”
Carlson and Potter are not starting and can play backup four or five.
“I can see them both playing as backup fours and fives. The other thing, too, is they're not starting, and that's no knock... they're probably going to be playing against backup fours and fives.”
Carlson stood out in practice for his offensive rebounding and energy.
“I think that Branden Carlson stood out today for me just on the offensive glass and his energy and effort and getting second possessions”
