Hansen's drop coverage has been the coaching focus and he kept the ball in front of him.
“The one thing that we've been harping on with Hansen... is just his defense and playing in the drop. And I thought he did a pretty good job. He kept the ball in front of him, he challenged.”
Portland ran its offense through Hansen as the hub and he finished well around the basket.
“I thought that he had a pretty good feel for the offense. We played a lot through him as the hub. He made a lot of good decisions, was able to finish around the basket.”
Hansen impressed as a passer and rebounder who made good decisions on low post chances.
“He's a passer, he's an initiator, the ball mover, all that type of thing. But he was really good on the offensive glass, he was good on the defensive glass. And when he got opportunities on the low post to score, he made the right decision.”
